Former Manchester United assistant manager Rui Faria believes his former club need to continue to support the manager as he
has been at Jose Mourinho’s right-hand man for 17 years. Years since his time at Porto,
the two worked together at Old Trafford in the 2016/17 and 2017/18 seasons before Faria split up to take on the role of manager. Al-Duhail in Qatar and Mourinho were sacked just six months later, with
Faria commenting that the Red Devils were still unstable. This is necessary for the manager to make a team and build on the success.
“We come to a club that lacks stability and identity. You can’t snap your finger and immediately rebuild it,” he told The UFABET.
“It takes time. And you have to win. Because people won’t accept if you can’t win, so Jose said that (2017/18) was one of his best seasons. He was right. because we won the latest championship for the club And it’s the best time since (Sir Alex) Ferguson left the team.”
“What is lacking is still stability. And the clubs have to define what they want. At City, this is Pep [Guardiola]’s sixth season and he has had the opportunity to continually cultivate his own way into the team, buy players accordingly. guidelines on a continuous basis and continue to strengthen the army from the original success”
